Which Two Villains Has the CW Cast for The Flash?

After seeing Grant Gustin’s turn as The Flash on a few recent episodes of Arrow, I’m pretty excited to see what he’s going to do once he finally gets his own pilot on the CW. Currently, Gustin’s Barry Allen is in a coma in the Arrow-verse, and someday soon he’ll wake up with his speed powers. But who to use them against? The CW has just cast two villains to play opposite gustin.

First there’s Rick Cosnett, who via Deadline will be playing “Detective Eddie Thawne, a recent transfer to the Central City Police Department, whose past is a mystery and who harbors a dark secret,” and then there’s Danielle Panabaker, as “Caitlin Snow, a highly intelligent bioengineering expert who lost her fiancé during an explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs.”

So, which flash villains are these two? Thawne is Reverse Flash, a man with all Flash’s powers but lacking his moral center. Snow will be Killer Frost, whom The Flash has appropriated from battling DC character Firestorm, it seems.

You may recognize Cosnett from his recent turn on The Vampire Diaries. The CW likes to cycle their actors around between shows, and he’s no exception. Panabaker is generally a film actress, appearing in Friday the 13th, The Crazies and Piranha 3D. She did spend a long time on Necessary Roughness recently however, so is familiar with TV.

What do you think? Will these two make good villains for Gustin’s Flash?
