Video Explains How to Get Out of a Speeding Ticket

You might think that you know how to get out of a speeding ticket, and there are many ways to do it, but this video at least tries to show you just how to do it, in a very suspect way of course. It’s not exactly the way that anyone would recommend this of course since Funny or Die seems to point out in no uncertain way that the extremes of getting out of a ticket are sometimes a lot of work. The effort it took to make this video for instance is a good indication of how some people take funny to the next level in an attempt to get people to laugh uproariously. Did it work?

Getting out of a speeding ticket is entirely possible but there needs to be a feasible reason why a person is breaking the speed limit, and if it is a good enough reason, like your wife delivering at the hospital, then the police officer is most likely going to give you an escort there, so if you’re lying it becomes a matter of lying to a cop to avoid admission of a crime, which is a no-no. The chances of this working without a police escort are slim to none and slim usually fades out of sight before you can finish the sentence. Police don’t often take a very kind look at those that try to eke their way out of a ticket by lying to them, as it shows a decided lack of respect for the law and the officer that’s attempting to serve it. After all speed limits are kept up for a pretty obvious reason in some places, as the speed of the traffic does manage to impact the quality of life in some areas.

There are those areas around your town or city that don’t seem to make a lot of sense when you see a reduced speed sign, but many times you’ll see them in school zones, neighborhoods, or even shopping areas with a higher amount of foot traffic. Speed limits are kept in these places since pedestrians can’t always move aside from a car that’s barreling down at them at top speed. Plus, many children simply don’t know the damage that a speeding car can do and might amble blindly into the road for whatever reason. A car hitting a kid at 10 to 25 mph is still going to cause a lot of damage, but there’s a chance that someone will notice and yank the kid out of the road before anything bad can happen.

Getting out of a ticket is essentially trying to weasel out of admitting that you were in the wrong. While some officers do tend to be a little over the top when it comes to writing tickets, those that write them to people for going 10 or more over the limit are doing so for a good reason. On the highway and on the back roads, when there’s little no traffic, the speed limit is a little more flexible. But in neighborhoods and other areas it’s meant to be followed.

If you have the gumption to go through with the lie however, getting out of a ticket is not an easy thing to do.
