... Or something like that. The point is, Jon Gosselin is tired of the ridicule - he wants the world to know his side, and it isn't pretty. Jon sat down for an interview with Good Morning America where he reportedly tells all about his mis-adventures with women, the whole plastic surgeon's daughter thing, and why he has split from Kate.
Here's the thing though, in the clip that is circulating now Jon mentions the abuse and belittlement he suffered from Kate as being the reason he had to get outta town. I can honestly say there are few people in this world who know the show that would fault Jon for wanting to get the hell out of there. Watching Kate dominate poor Jon was like watching Ilsa She Wolf of the SS with midgets. The woman was a complete and utter... uh... I'm not sure there is a politically correct term.
So, Jon Gosselin is more or less off the hook on the reasoning. What people want to know is why the heck he is now running around like Hugh Hefner having a mid-life crisis, doing all these wildly out-of-character things. In the recap they mention that he was jealous of Kate going out and having steak dinners and whatever, I swear if he actually says that he is doing all of this because he was jealous of her celebrity status and wanted a taste for himself - I'll barf. If they did not have a freakishly large family, no-one would know who either of them was.
Surprisingly, though, Jon Gosselin apparently fingers the show that made him famous to begin with as a major part of the problem. Please, Jon, make up your mind. You like the fame, or your don't. If there was no show, do you think these young hotties would be crawling all over you?
Jon, half the stuff you are going to say in this interview is crap. Yes, Kate was verbally abusive but she wasn't so at first. She became verbally abusive after the stress of having an unambitious, lazy husband took it's toll. If you were a mature, driven man of 30-whatever-you-are, you would have left her and found some mature way to fill your lack luster life other than barhopping, chain smoking, chasing not-so-hot women and basically, embarrassing the crap out of your family. You are blaming her for YOU. Get a grip and take some responsibilty for yourself and your actions. No, I don't believe she had an affair with her bodyguard. If she had, the Mr and Mrs with kids in tow wouldn't have gone to her house last weekend for a cookout. Kate is good friends with Mrs Bodyguard. You planted that lie to try to justify for your own sorry behavior. I think this interview is going to backfire on you. You are trying to create public sympathy for yourself.
