Yes, You Can Watch The Super Bowl Online ... Sort Of

In case you missed it, the US government seized thousands of domains in advance of the 2012 Super Bowl, most of them setup to illegally stream the big game today (among other sporting events, TV shows, movies, etc). That doesn't mean you can't stream the Super Bowl legally though.  NBC has setup a live feed of the 2012 Super Bowl to stream online for the first time in history.  Here is the catch:  the stream is NOT available internationally.

Personally, I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding why there was such an effort to squash streaming of an event that is largely supported by some of the most expensive commercial slots in history.  In fact, the Super Bowl one of the rare occasions where the audience actually wants to watch the commercials.  They sell Coca-Cola in Belize, right?

But seriously, it's probably not so much the Super Bowl the intercops were out to block from being illegally enjoyed around the world, and there is always the upside that the seizing of those sites proved, yet again, that we don't need SOPA to shut down pirates in an expedited fashion. So all of you outside the US that were looking to stream the Super Bowl, grab your US-based Proxies and get ready to tune in.  NBC has you covered.
