Video: Did Angus T. Jones Just Quit Two and a Half Men?

Angus T. Jones just shot an arrow through Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre's heart.  The actor who portrays Jake Harper, the half-man of the title, and famously pulls down an epic $300-grand en episode, seems to have had a religious awakening and recently appeared on a Christian vid-cast to declare the series the work of "The Enemy".

In the video, Jones goes on to suggest, in veiled terms, that he is quitting the show.  "I don’t want to contribute to the enemy’s plan… People can say, ‘I can be a Christian and be on Two and a Half Men.‘ You can not. You can’t be a God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t. I’m not okay with what I’m learning, with what the Bible says and being on that television show."

Can news of a contract termination or of the young star walking away from his contract be far behind?  What would this mean for Lorre's Two and a Half Men?  In reality it could just mean a smaller budget.  After all, when Charlie Sheen went Diva and was subsequently fired from the show Two and a Half Men not only bounced back effortlessly, some would say it was downright re-invigorated.  Hopefully Jones' conversion has softened his ego a bit, because it could ultimately turn out that this 'moment' he has created is fairly inconsequential for the show.

“If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and please stop filling your head with filth.”  Jones said.

It would be interesting (NOT) to hear Jones' opinion of shows like Dexter, The Walking Dead, or Gigolos, if he things Two and a Half Men is that bad.
