Injustice 2 to Introduce the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Upcoming updates divulge that Injustice 2 a famous fighting game will feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It comes as an exciting surprise and the producers deserve credit for keeping the treat under wraps for very long. It was not until their official announcement that the world found out about the inclusion.

Ed Bloom said in a tweet that he did not believe how he managed to keep the secret or not have characters leak before the company made an announcement. The new additions will appear in the Fighter Pack 3. Enchantress and Atom other DC Universe heroes will also be in the same pack. Worth noting is that gamers who bought the Ultimate Edition of the game will still access the upcoming DLC fighters.

Injustice 2 has been known to introduce multiple new playable characters since it was released back in 2017. The new additions are usually available in different Fighter Pack DLC. Introduction of the heroes (Atom, Ninja Turtles, and Enchantress) will increase the roster of injustice characters. They will now rise to 41 characters from just two.

Many people had predicted that Fighter Pack 3 would feature Constantine or any other DC characters. Boy, Were they in for a huge surprise! The trailer opens with Black Manta and Raiden being taken out and a cigarette appearing on the ground. The Enchantress and Atom also make their entrances. A lone sai stops the cinematic fight that is going on. It is owned by non-other than Raphael who comes in wearing a trench coat. Soon after, his three brothers join him.

It is an excellent trailer because it shows off the prowess of Enchantress and Atom. It also does not give away the massive reveal until the appropriate moment. Trench coat wearing Raph and the cigarette at the start can be a possibility of Rorschach or Constantine. Sai could even be Moral Kombats Mileena. People only realize that it is Turtles when they finally show up on the screen.

Crossover of the heroes is not a first of a kind in the DC universe of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. The Ninja Turtles also made an appearance on “Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It was a mini-series with six episodes. Earlier this year, IDW, DC, and Nickelodeon have already announced in regards to the development of a sequel to the comic series.

Fans were very excited about the Ninja Turtles news particularly

the ones who remember that the turtles once fought alongside Batman in the comics. A majority could not stop praising the producers for continually giving them a fresh and exciting experience with the Fighter Packs. Details about Fighter Pack 3 release are still not yet public. Fighter Packs 1 and 2 are already in the market. These brought in new characters like Sub Zero, Red Hood, and Starfire for the 1st pack. The second introduced Raiden from Sub Zero and Hellboy (Dark Horse Comics)

It goes to show that the DC Comics-based fighting game that The NeatherRealm Studios produce does not only team up characters from DC universe but other sports and publishers as well. However, enthusiasts can look forward to getting their hands on the hero Atom on 12th December 2017.
