Live-Action Mario Kart Short Film Gets Real Dark, Really Quickly

There have been plenty of “Mario Kart in real life” videos produced over the years, my favorite of which is anything produced and directed by Youtube star Remi Gaillard.   We’ve seen plenty of “real Mario Kart” races since that’s kind of a thing now both here and abroad.  But to tell you the truth I’ve seen nothing as strange (or creative) as the short you’re about to see.  If you think you’re getting any kind of Mario Kart racing then look elsewhere.   This movie takes a very strange turn.

In “Mario’s Lost Kart” the live-action short starts out with a guy who’s down on his luck and unknowingly purchases Mario’s Lost Kart in order to make it to a job interview.  But through it all you’ll eventually find this film ending with arson and murder.   Rather than ruin the plot for you I think it’s best you just check it out for yourselves.
