The show Wilfred is awesome for many reasons. One, it is kooky. The whole talking dog thing has never quite been represented like it is on Wilfred. Second, it shows the bond between man and animal in a light we have never seen before. On top of both those points, the show has a great cast, and is NEVER scared to push the envelope a little further than most shows would. Good news for fans of Wilfred. Seems the dog will be getting his final season, afterall. There is a catch though.
More on the story at TV Line, but we can simplify it for you. Much like It’s Always Sunny before it, Wilfred is being moved from FX to FXX. We are not quite sure the channel’s reasoning for moving all its best shows to the new network, but if you are afraid Wilfred won’t get its dues on FXX, just look at It’s Always Sunny, who did it first, and have had generally great ratings this season regardless of that move. I think either way Wilfred fans should be excited, because at least we get the final season of the show. Perhaps FXX is the move shows make before the TV show graveyard, but judging from the caliber of TV shows they have moved on there, FXX might just be their super team.
So if you like Wilfred’s brand of zany, edgy comedy, make sure to watch the final ten episode run on FXX when it airs.
