Young and the Restless fans are not at all surprised to see that things aren’t going anyone else’s way in the grand scheme of what is going on. Vickie is not happy that her father’s memo hit the press and everyone in the town knows that he demoted her at work. She was hoping that all that’s going on would kind of overshadow this and keep her protected, but it’s not working in her favor. She’s got a lot going on right now, and it’s not going to work well for her to bother with any of this as it’s all going down.
She’s currently in the market for revenge, but she won’t get it. She’s going to find Ash at her door telling her that she’s not permitted to ever come into the company into Victor’s offices again. She’s not someone who has a senior role in the business, and now she’s just a lackey who is employed there for no other reason than her father allowed her that much.
She doesn’t want Vickie near anything confidential at this point, and that’s precisely what Victor would want. As long as his daughter spends another moment with JT, he won’t want her in the business in a situation where he can get things into his own hand and make decisions that aren’t good for anyone. It’s a tough situation to be in right now, but she put herself into it when she made these decisions and chose to be with this abusive man.
