Sweet! A second episode of 1600 Penn. Meaning there’s only two more episodes left for the season, which will be aired next Thursday. The cancellation of this show is imminent.
D.B. made his adorable return letting Becca know that if she was a fat chick, she’d still be hot. Yup, with suave words like not surprised that D.B. knocked up Becca. I’m more shocked that more women haven’t fallen prey to his dimwitted, yet adorable words. I sure as hell wouldn’t.
On their date night, Becca and D.B watched his favorite movie Prank Guys. Once again, we’re subjected to another Becca and D.B. have nothing in common plot. The point was driven further when Marshall showed up hoping to watch a French film by himself. Naturally, Becca got Marshall to third wheel their date.
Becca decided that it might be time for D.B. to know they used to date. Honestly, that boy was so dumb, I don’t think he would even care. And he did… aside from the fact that he punched Marshall in the face. Finally, Marshall put to rest that he and Becca were never going to be anything because all his feelings for her were in the past.
Meanwhile, Standrich and Emily received relationship advice from the President of France and his wife. Their advice: have a spicy dinner, take a steaming hot bath and then do a puzzle. It’s pretty much the Eat, Pray, Love of keeping your relationship from fizzling. And it worked. Ladies, I suggest trying so I can collect more data and truly test this theory.
Another solid episode from 1600 Penn. Way better than what Community had to offer.
