Reservoir Dogs will always go down as one of Quentin Tarantino’s finest films and to this day the movie is still being explored and talked about. The torture scenes with Michael Madsen will always go down as some of the most original work ever put on screen and anyone who’s ever watched Reservoir Dogs will never, ever listen to Steeler’s Wheel’s “Stuck in the Middle with You” the same way again.
It’s hard to believe the film is 25 years old but back in 1992 the movie was made for only $1.8 million. It only did $2.8 million at the box office but it will always go down as a Tarantino classic. To this day there are still a ton of things we don’t know about the movie which is why I’m going to share all of these little known facts with you. P.S. here’s my favorite one:
“Quentin Tarantino wanted James Woods to play a role in the film, and made him five different cash offers. Woods’ agent refused the offers without ever mentioning it to Woods as the sums offered were well below what Woods would normally receive. When Tarantino and Woods later met for the first time Woods learned of the offer and was annoyed enough to get a new agent.”
