Being the owner of a pawn shop that specializes in things that come in with a really unique story is one of the most interesting jobs in the world. It is a fun concept to get to see things come into the shop all the time that have such a unique and special history. Whether it might be a chair a long-dead president once owned or even a ring once worn by a WWE star after he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, it’s a fun job. Everything that comes through these doors has a story. It has history. People love history — unless they are stuck learning about it in a classroom with a boring teacher who cannot make anything interesting.
On tonight’s all-new Pawn Stars, the guys take in a ring that was once given to a WWE wrestler inducted into the Hall of Fame. It’s a beautiful ring and the story behind it is more than a little interesting. Additionally, they take in a recording of Stormy Weather that was done doo wop style; something you just don’t see around here anymore. It’s rare, and very valuable. In other historic news, the shop also receives a $1 silver certificate that dates all the way back to 1891 as well as an Essex Sedan rat rod from 1927. Find out what each piece is worth tonight. It might surprise you just which one is the most valuable of the lot unless you know your artifact history before watching.
