Kyle Lambert and his Toy Shining mashup is about one of the most disturbing things you’ll see today most likely. Just imagine that Woody was a writer, a drunk, and on top of all that somehow connected to a hotel that had a deep, dark mystery interlaced with murder, debauchery, and the kind of horror that would make a grown adult wet their pants without fail. You can just imagine how nuts it would be to see Woody going absolutely crazy towards Jesse and Big Baby. Having Lots-O there is kind of interesting since it’s kind of a reversal on his character from the actual Toy Story movie. After all he was the guy that tried to get them all on his side only to turn out to be the bad guy.
But everyone’s got their thing when it comes to representing a mashup.

Woody looks absolutely unhinged as he sticks his face through the door. Those eyes that were painted on and stuck in his skull look like they’re about to roll around like marbles and scare the living daylights out of Jesse just a little bit more. “Heeeere’s Woody!” It doesn’t have the same punch as the original but it does look a little more creepy since Woody’s head is a lot bigger and his eyes are bout the size of a human cheekbone.
I didn’t understand just how creepy Woody would look without his customary cowboy outfit but putting him in a bargain basement suit sans hat is like something out of the reject pile of Mad Men. He looks like he could take a couple of shots and then go chopping away with an axe if you let him in the next second.
This is a truly disturbing image. Jesse looks like something out of a Chucky movie, Big Baby just looks flat out damaged and Woody looks like he’s ready to drive them all off of the nearest cliff. Maybe someone should redo The Shining in CGI and add these characters in.
I’m not too sure what would be more horrifying to see cascading down the walls, a torrent of blood or these shrieking toy monkeys as they came scampering forward without end.
“Come play with us Big Baby”. Yeah, turn that tricycle around and make tracks in any other direction but this one.
Lots-O looks like he could be anyone’s best pal at this moment while Big Baby still looks damaged in some irrevocable way. Anyone remember how these baby dolls always seemed to have one eye that always ended up like that?
All that room to ride and all those ghosts to see. Yes, this would be a very traumatizing moment for any child, or toy. Plus, why are all hallways painted in the same colors it seems like?
It seems anywhere there’s a Pixar character you can’t get away from that lamp. Of course in this hotel if it turned towards you as it does in the movies you might want to think twice about sticking around.

Of course there would be a shout out to Al’s Toy Barn and Pizza Planet, as well as the first couple of Toy Story movies with the bank and the cow boxes stacked up. And we can’t forget Sunnyside of course.
Oh Kyle, your imagination is creepy but wonderful.
