Celebrating National Margarita Day with Margarita Scenes from Movies

In case you didn’t know, today is National Margarita Day.   I must admit that even though this day passes every year, I forget about it every single year.  Perhaps that’s because every single day on our calendar seems to be some kind of “day” that we celebrate and it’s impossible to keep track.   In case you’re not familiar with this “holiday” here’s some info from the official website.

We pay tribute and honor the margarita on this special day of celebration.  We so deeply respect and value its place in our history that we have set aside Feb. 22 of every year as National Margarita Day. Todd McCalla founded National Margarita Day to spread his love for margaritas around the world. Loved and consumed by millions, friends and families around the world honor this sacred tequila, triple sec and lime drink every year on February 22.

As they say, friendship, good times and memories of somewhere warmer are all great reasons to enjoy a margarita.  Ain’t that the truth?  So in our own way we’ll pay tribute to National Margarita day by doing what we do best, posting clips from movies and shows.  In this case, movies.

Here are five movie scenes that have to do with Margaritas:

The Matador – Margaritas Always Taste Better in Mexico

I miss Pierce Brosnan in cool roles like this.
