Days of Our Lives fans know that things aren’t exactly easy on Sonny right now. He’s supposed to be enjoying his life as a newlywed, but here he is enjoying nothing of the sort. He’s instead trying to find his ex-husband who is allegedly being held hostage by a crazy doctor — and not dead like he’s thought for so long. The stress of having his wedding interrupted by the crazy man who killed his husband to find out that his husband might actually be alive was all it took to send Sonny into a place that’s not amazing. He’s stressed. He’s overwhelmed.
And he’s about to end up hospitalized. He’s not going to be in good health this week, and it’s going to cause him to need some medical attention. It’s also going to cause Paul some serious stress as he wonders if his own husband will be all right. We know he will be fine, but we don’t know that their new marriage will be just fine. These two should be on their way home from their romantic honeymoon, but they’re not.
And they are not doing what they should to focus on their marriage. They’re distracted. They’re upset, and they’re focusing on so many things they can’t change or help. And this is certainly not going to end well if and when Will is found alive. We don’t know what has happened to him, how he’s been dealing with it the past few years, or what he might be like now.
