Days of Our Lives fans know a thing or two about villains. The show has had its fair share of bad guys over the past few decades, and there is never a shortage of evil villains to keep things particularly interesting. But right now, we want to take a moment to go back and look at some of our favorite villains of all time. You might not agree, you might have a suggestion of your own, or you might be totally on board with our favorite villains. Sami Brady
She’s a fan favorite in so many ways. She’s come and gone, and she’s always back with a vengeance and something awful to do. She’s one of those women who likes to keep things as interesting as possible, and she’s very good at it. She’s got a lot on her plate in many ways, and she’s always bringing it. What we love about her is the fact that she’s clearly a bad guy, but she’s also loveable and enjoyable. We like her. We love to hate her. She’s managed to take down her sister and Austin so she could have children with him, lied about her own child’s father to keep him, and didn’t care that she took down many people along the way. She’s sneaky. She’s on fire, and she’s always causing problems.
Xander Cook
We love Xander, especially when he’s dead, alive, dead, back, hidden, dead, alive, and no one ever knows when he’s coming back. It helps that he’s pretty easy on the eyes, too. He’s killed people, kidnapped them, kept them from their loved ones, made a mess of their lives, and he’s never felt particularly bad about any of it, if you ask us. He’s not someone who has been around for a very long time, but in the few years he’s been here, he’s managed to make everyone terrified and scared for their lives. He began killing as a teen, and he’s never stopped. We love him.
Ben Weston
He’s the necktie killer. He’s the young man who tried to make sure Chad and Abigail died when he set their bed on fire, killed so many people, and managed to escape his mental institutions more than once to make lives miserable. He’s young, but he’s got this thing about him that makes him into one of the most dangerous villains in the recent history of the show. He’s back, and now we are not sure if he’s good, if he’s bad, or if he’s playing all of us. We like to think that he’s back with some changes, but we think he’s back to take someone down and do it while making everyone think he’s a new person. We love that.
Gabby
She’s not real. But she’s an alter ego of Abigail. She wasn’t around long, but she was around long enough. She wasn’t real, either, so she didn’t hesitate to tell us what she really thought, how she really felt, and what was on her mind. She was unforgettable, and she was not going to stop there at all. She is a woman who has a lot on her mind, and she is going to make problems even though she’s gone.
Stefano DiMera
Hands down, he is our favorite villain of all time. He was portrayed by the late Joseph Masculo, who passed away in 2017. This is one character that went away, came back, and made many of these deathly exits over the years without actually dying. But, he’s not coming back this time. The show did the right thing by retiring his character with the amazing actor passed. No one else can be Stefano DiMera, and no one can make sure they do all the horrible things that he’s done over the years. From never showing a hint of remorse over anything he ever did to making sure he was able to pull off the most amazing plots and plans, he goes down in history as the worst of the worst. He’s a man who could not be stopped, and Salem simply is not the same without him and his horrible deeds.
