DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at Comic-Con: Wentworth Miller Talks Captain Cold in Heroic Team Environment

Legends of Tomorrow

The CW/DC universe is continuing to expand its superhero franchise, and next year, the creative team behind Arrow and The Flash will be launching DCTV’s first team-based series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In this new show, the time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) will bring together heroes like The Atom (Brandon Routh), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Firestorm (one half is Victor Garber’s Martin Stein) and villains like Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) as they have to take down the villainous Vandal Savage. Miller, who is known for his role as Michael Scofield on FOX’s Prison Break (that also featured his DC’s Legends of Tomorrow co-star Purcell as his brother Lincoln Burrows), will not only be appearing as Captain Cold again on The Flash but will also be joining this team-up show as a series regular.

TVOvermind was fortunate enough to participate in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Press Room at San Diego Comic-Con with other news outlets at roundtables where stars and producers from the show discussed what viewers can expect from the new show. Miller was one of the people we got to talk to, and you can watch his entire roundtable interview in the video below. Here are some of the topics he discussed:

– How Snart works in this team environment as opposed to working within a villainous group.

– Whether Miller is doing any additional preparation for Captain Cold’s move over to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

– What it was like working with everyone on the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow promo that came out in May.

– How the first half of Season 2 of The Flash will help set up Captain Cold’s move to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

– Whether working with the Legends of Tomorrow members will ever make Snart question if he should be a hero instead of a villain.

– What sort of talks are going on between him, Purcell, and FOX for the possible Prison Break limited series that is supposedly in the works.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to premiere sometime at midseason on The CW. Stay tuned for more roundtable videos of the cast and producers in the next few days right here at TVOvermind.
