Five Things You didn’t Know about Paulina Rubio

Paulina Rubio knew at a very young age that she was going to be famous apparently. It’s not so much conceit really as it is a hard-wired determination and likely a very big dose of confidence since her mother was an actor and her father was a lawyer. In a family with parents that are obviously required to be around people and be outspoken more often than not many children will either become quite and closed off or will take after their parents. Rubio has obviously chosen the path of being a star since she has no inclination to be anything else. To date she is still active as a singer, an actress, and several other things that she has been quite successful at.

She’s talked about occasionally, but it could be she wants it that way.

5. She toured with Enrique Iglesias as his opening act.

That’s not a bad way to start out on one’s quest for glory since Iglesias was one of the hottest singers on the mic for a while. Opening for him must have been something special because she toured with him for a while and seemed to find it agreeable enough until her fame started to rise and she went out on her own. There was no doubt in her mind that such a thing would happen eventually.

4. She knew she wanted to be a singer by the age of 7.

I have yet to meet a single person who knew what they wanted to do by the age of 7 or younger and followed through on it. Maybe I just don’t live in the right cities that spawn superstars but this is still a mystery to me, and still impressive. Knowing what you want at such a young age and then going to get it is something that a lot of people don’t seem to be capable of in this world for whatever reasons.

3. She has been a part of several charities.

She’s given a great deal of her time and money to others in an effort to champion one cause or another. No matter what people might want to say about her, since celebrities draw detractors as well as fans, she has given up a great deal of herself to make the lives of others a little better. This is a great argument for the fact that she’s not some heartless celebrity that just wants to put her face everywhere she can for the public to see.

2. She’s worked as a model.

It’s not that surprising to learn that she’s walked down a runway since she does have the look and the apparent attitude if you take a look at the picture above. She might have a heart of gold but she can still make it work when she needs to so as to look professional.

1. She has a bit of an ego.

It might be that she touts herself quite often and speaks of herself highly without meaning to do so but it might also be that she knows what she’s saying and is merely that confident in her abilities. Having an ego isn’t bad, it’s if you flaunt it needlessly and shamelessly that it becomes a negative thing.

Paulina seems to enjoy being famous, but she also has a big heart as she’s shown in the past.
