OJ SImpson Lands $20K for Sacha Baron Cohen Movie

It has recently been revealed that Sacha Baron Cohen, the famous actor and prankster, has paid over $20,000 for OJ Simpson to appear in his next movie. This decision has caused outrage amongst the family members of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. Sacha Baron Cohen is best-known for creating and performing as big characters, such as Borat and Ali G. He often dresses up as his characters before duping his unsuspecting victims. This is exactly what he did to Simpson, as he dressed up in a wig and thick glasses before meeting the ex-sportsman turned ex-con in his hotel room in Vegas.

This information came from a production source who told the Mail on Sunday that Simpson had said Cohen had to have the money ready before he would even agree to meet him. The source said that Simpson wouldn’t even go to the hotel room until he had received some of the cash and that there was no way Cohen could have got the meeting without the cash. However, there was not a rep available to comment on Cohen’s behalf to validate this information.

On the other hand, Simpson has commented about the meeting to reporters. He told The Mail that he had met with Cohen, knew him well, and that he was a nice guy. Unfortunately, he refused to confirm whether an exchange of money had taken place during the meeting with Cohen.

OJ Simpson is a former running back and winner of the Heisman Trophy. He was also inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Back in 194, he was acquitted of the charges that he murdered his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Despite being acquitted of the charges, he was found guilty by a civil jury, who ordered him to pay $25 million in compensation. Although he was given this penalty, OJ Simpson largely ignored the order.

This was not the only time that OJ Simpson has found himself on the wrong side of the law as he was later convicted of a Las Vegas armed robbery and was sentenced to nine years in prison in Nevada. He was released from jail in October 2017. David Cook is a collections lawyer who is working on behalf of Ron Goldman’s father. According to him, if Simpson did get paid this money from Cohen, then it should be immediately used to repay his judgment debt. He also made derogatory comments about Cohen paying him the money and described it as unadulterated sleaze that he was paid cash in hand in secret.

Another person who is horrified by the payment is Tanya Brown, the sister of Nicole Brown Simpson. She is disgusted that anyone would want to pay Simpson. Tanya Brown openly discussed her thoughts with the mail and described the murder of her sister and friend as brutal. She went on to comment that their murders were not entertainment or a joke and implied that the payment to OJ Simpson made their deaths seem this way.
