‘The Expanse’ is a science fiction television series that is based on the series of novels of the same name by James S.A. Corey. The series was developed by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby. This series is about humanity colonizing the Solar System in the future. This series has been received positively by critics and it won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation and was also nominated for a Saturn Award. 1. Thomas Jane
As one of the most experienced actors in the series, it is likely that Thomas Jane will continue to enjoy a successful acting career post-series. He became a professional actor in 1987 and is best-known for films including ‘Boogie Nights’, ‘The Thin Red Line’, ‘The Mist’, ‘The Punisher’, and ‘Deep Blue Sea’. 2. Dominique Tipper
Tipper is a British actress who, prior to landing the role of Naomi Nagata in ‘The Expanse’, had only one previous television role. This was when she appeared in one episode of ‘Death in Paradise’. Her career has mainly involved small roles in films. Since appearing in ‘The Expanse’, she has now gained international recognition and this has the potential to further her career.
3. Steven Strait
In ‘The Expanse’, Steven Strait has played Jim Holden, one of the leading roles in the series. 5. Frankie Adams
Frankie Adams is a talented actress who plays the role of Roberta ‘Bobbie W. Draper in ‘The Expanse’. Prior to her role in this series, she was only known to New Zealand viewers, so ‘The Expanse’ has helped her to gain international recognition which could lead to bigger roles in the future. She began her career in acting at the age of 16 when she play Ula Levi in the New Zealand soap opera ‘Shortland Street’. She appeared in 278 episodes of this soap opera. Her only other television work was appearing in two episodes of the Australian prison drama ‘Wentworth’. Adams’ one film role was playing Ilisa in the 2017 New Zealand film ‘One Thousand Ropes’.
