After her graduation, she ended up moving back to Madrid in order to continue her education at University. She has also lived in Positano, Italy for a short period of time during her first marriage.

Once Owned And Managed A Hotel

During her time in Italy, Silva and her then husband, Govind Friedland, actually established a hotel, named the Hotel Villa Treville, which she also managed. It was there that Silva first met Richard Gere, and the rest is now history.
