Five Things You Didn’t Know About Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is a name and a face that many will recognize for her time on MTV when she hosted the show ‘It’s On With Alexa Chung’ in 2009. She has had many different facets to her career over the course of many years, and has also been known for her on again, off again relationship with Alexander Skarsgard in recent years. It has recently been reported that the couple may indeed back on again after they had called it quits in July of 2017. The couple was spotted in a train station holding hands, and it has sparked rumors all over the media. Although we can’t confirm whether the couple is truly back together, we can let you know five things that you might not know about Alexa Chung and her career in the limelight. So, with that said, let’s get started on our count down of Alexa Chung.

Her Ethnicity

Maybe the last name might give it away, but Alexa Chung has a few different ancestral backgrounds when it comes to ancestry. Her mother is of English descent, while her father is 3/4ths Chinese. Alexa was born and raised in Privett, Hampshire, England.

A Woman Of Many Talents

Throughout the course of her career, Alexa Chung has had her fair share of talents and gigs. She began modeling when she was a teenager, and that love for fashion has continued throughout the years as well, including working with a fashion line, as we will discuss later in the article. She has also hosted may different shows on various networks, and has also written for magazines and weekly newspaper columns as well.

Past Relationships

Alexa Chung has had a couple of relationships throughout the years. Her first was with fashion photographer David Titlow, who is 20 years older than the model. Their relationship lasted from 2003 to 2006. After that, she was in a four year long relationships with Alex Turner, who is the lead singer for the Artic Monkeys, but the couple ended their relationship in 2011. Since then, she has been on again, off again with Skarsgard, as we mentioned earlier in the article.

Her Education

She first attended school at the local Perins School in her hometown, and attended her sixth form, or her final three years of high school, at Peter Symonds College, which is located in Winchester. She was also accepted and planning to attend King’s College London, but never ended up attending as she was scouted by a modeling agent before her first year began.

New Fashion Line

As we mentioned before, Alexa Chung has a love for the fashion industry in a big way. In fact, she has gone from the runway to behind the scenes, and in May 2016, she released her own fashion label, which is called Alexachung.

Many fans are eager to see whether this couple is indeed back together, but either way, we know that Alexa Chung is one busy woman. From her new fashion label to her modeling and her many other gigs, she knows how to make her way in the industry, and has the potential to stay on top.
