General Hospital: Maxie’s Future is Bleak

General Hospital fans know that Maxie is having a rough time. She’s been having a rough time since she returned from her job out of state and found her husband was making good friends with a nurse who wanted to exact revenge on her for her behavior back in high school. There’s so much here that we don’t get, but Maxie’s life has changed for the worse since this pregnant woman lost her husband in a senseless act. She’s been comforted by Peter, and she’s been spending a lot of time with this man. We know he makes her feel good, but she’s still missing her husband so much. But we also know that he is a dangerous man.

What really has us all buzzing, however, is the fact that he will be there when she goes into labor. We think that she will do this during the Nurse’s Ball when she decides she’s tired, unhappy, and sad. She will want to go home, but then there will be some sort of situation in the car. We think perhaps her water will break in Peter’s car when he offers to take her home, and we can only hope at that point he takes her to the hospital. We’ve already learned that Kristen Storms, Maxie, is leaving the show for good.

There is no real reason behind why she is leaving other than she’s having some personal reasons to go, and that’s what she’s sticking to. She’s had some skin issues in the past, she has a baby, and she’s probably working on getting her heath intact. We think this is nothing short of a very valid reason for her to call it quits.

And that leaves things very wide open for her character. We all know that Peter is not really a nice man. He’s Henrik, and he wants people to die. Will he make sure Maxie is one of them? Or does he feel some sort of real closeness to her baby since it would be related to him if it was born? We honestly don’t know how it will be.
