General Hospital fans are really going to see things take a turn this weekend as the show gears up for a long weekend without any new episodes. It turns out that Valentin and Nina will not be able to get things together. They are just too far gone at this point, and we will see that she might just be at that point in her life where she no longer cares or wants to bother with things the way that they are and the way that they’ve been going on for her. She feels she’s done all she can to make this situation work, and she is no longer amused by the fact that things are not working the way that they are working.
She also feels that she’s made it quite clear to her husband how she feels and what she is standing for in their marriage, but he is not working with her. She’s not doing much else to fight for this, but we might see that he is going to finally step up to the plate and do the right things. The big problem here, however, is that she will not care at this point. She’s only asked him a million times to do what she’s been asking, and he’s never done any of it. So the fact that he will go out of his own way to continue to try so hard today might not make any difference to her at all. And she might not be all that amused by what is going on.
They are not in a good place, but they’ve never been in a particularly good place. The problem now is that they have to focus on what they want to do in terms of getting things together, but there’s very little they can do. Valentin is likely too late to get this situation under control, but Nina will not change her mind no matter how hard he tries to do just that. It’s too late for his changes.
