Classic Moments in WWE History: Jessa Ventura Interviews The Junkyard Dog on Body Shop

While the WWE is probably more popular than ever right now, if you’re me and you’re in your thirties then it’ll never be the same as it was back in the 80s when it was called the WWF.  I felt the the wrestlers back then were just “better” in many senses of the word.  Better personalities.  Better with the camera.  Better actors.  By the way I know I’m completely wrong.  While the athleticism of today far and away exceeds the guys from decades ago, I just felt that it was so much fun to watch.

Then again I was all but 6-10 years old during this era and I thought it was all real which is why my nostalgia is so biased.  In any case, looking back I’ve decided to start sharing clips that are just flat out awesome.  Among my favorite segments other than actual wrestling were when wrestlers Jesse “The Body” Venture and “Rowdy Roddy Piper would completely embarrass and make fun of guests on their hilarious “talk” shows “Body Shop” and “Piper’s Pit.”

So as often as I can I’m going to bring you these clips because well, they’re extremely entertaining.  This one’s of Ventura interviewing classic star The Junkyard Dog.  Whenever Ventura interviewed a “good guy” he was unbelievably rude.  Remember how Junkyard Dog used to come out to the song “Another one bites the dust” by Queen?  Anyway, check out this clip above.  You won’t regret it.
