Tuesday’s episode of Days of Our Lives was a very dramatic one. On this episode, we saw that things do not always go according to plan. You can plan, plot and expect that things will go a certain way as often as you like, but it’s not uncommon for them to do exactly the opposite. Hope and Rare share a moment, once again, and it leaves everyone wondering what will happen between these two. Will they form a real and lasting relationship, or will they see one another for a while until things in their lives calm down? After all, they are going through something very uncommon together right now, and it might seem as if their bond over what they have done might draw them closer together.
After all, how many people can say that they’ve covered up two murders together, hidden bodies and done all that these two have done together? It’s not something that either one should be proud of in the least, but it seems as if they are working together to make sure that they are able to find a way to be together. Rafe might have more obvious feelings than Hope at this point, but seeing the two of them together does make it seem fairly certain that everyone has feelings in this situation. However, they are planning a trip together with Ciara, who is very worried about her mother, and we do have to wonder what will happen on this trip together.
Joey is heartbroken that Ava does not want to be with him and will not go to Mexico with him. There is a chance he might know more than we think that he knows, but for now we know that he is just devastated that things with Ava are the way that they are, what with her illness and her obsession with finding her missing son. Joey isn’t handling this well, and it is probably going to cause some more issues in his life.
Ava tells him that they cannot be together and that she loves him but that she will not leave with him. Heartbroken, he is beside himself and begins to drink — a lot. He is not just drinking to feel marginally better, either, but to make the pain go completely away. He is drinking so much that there might be other issues for Steve to worry about right now. Of course, he has no idea that Kayla is missing and that Steve is being blackmailed to work with Ava, and he has no idea how much additional stress he is putting on Steve at this moment in time.
When Steve catches her with Joey, she promises him that she has told him that they cannot contact one another anymore and that if he wants Kayla back, he will help her find her little boy. He wants to get Kayla back, so he makes his final decision. He will help her get the boy back, but she also wants to join him on the search. Steve doesn’t want her there; he wants her to take care of Kayla since she will not give her back to him, and he does not want to spend any more time alone with her than he hast to, and he also wonders if the boy that Ava is certain she is missing is even real.
Joey is so upset about Ava that he drinks so much at Ciara’s party he is totally out of control and leaves his friends to have to find a way to help him out. Speaking of Ciara, as she continues to enjoy her party, it turns out that her mother needs to worry more now than ever. While Ciara is partying, Andre is doing everything in his power to overcome and overtake Hope for what she did to Stefano. He found his father’s body and knows that Hope is the one who killed him, and he vows to get her back no matter what it takes.
