The Kung Fu Panda franchise is without a doubt one of my favorite animated movie franchises out there. The question on all Panda fans minds ever since the 3rd installment ended was “will there be a Kung Fu Panda 4?” While all indications are that there will, rumors have it that the earliest we’ll see it on the big screen is 2020 and there’s still no guarantee the original cast comes back. But Panda fans can relax. Not only does the franchise have an awesome cartoon (Legends of Awesomeness) that you might not know about, Universal Studios Hollywood is opening up a Kung Fu Panda attraction. Opening in 2018, this newly-designed venue will play host to a variety of action-packed DreamWorks Animation themed attractions beginning with the multi-sensory adventure inspired by the global blockbuster franchise Kung Fu Panda, and created in partnership with Universal Creative and DreamWorks’ Artists. This new technologically-advanced attraction will take guests on a legendary journey that fuses captivating storytelling with state-of-the art projection mapping and LED lighting effects for a highly-engaging and immersive, unstoppable-awesome experience.
