Mob Wives Season 2 Sneak Peek: Hell on Heels

Mob WivesBefore a punch could be thrown or a hair could be ripped out in the season premiere of Mob Wives, the editors cut away, only hinting at the debauchery to come. It’s standard-ops for a reality show to tease out something big and stretch it over two episodes, but to not see anything at all was a little surprising. It had to be pretty outrageous, even for Mob Wives, to have it lead off the next episode, which would presumably be centered around the altercation and its aftermath.

In the seven minute sneak peek, we get to see what led to blows being thrown, what happened once it went down, and what role each cast member played in it. Though Karen tells Drita that she merely wants to talk, everything about her (body language, vocal tone) says otherwise and it’s only a matter of time before the two have at it over the Lee situation. (Again.) I was fairly confident that it’d be an old-fashioned public screaming match until peacekeeper Big Ang excused herself to go inside and Ramona smelled blood. It’s such a punk move and proof that Ramona was the driving force behind the fight; she went over to two hyped up women, one of whom she has mutual hatred with, and started running her mouth, knowing that it would set Drita off and it’d be on.

Once it was on, Ramona proves how much of a punk she really is, pulling Drita’s hair while she was being held by one of the security guys. Look, I have no problem with someone having their friend’s back, but if you’re going to try and act all hard for TV, the least you can do is square up and fight somebody one on one. I still wouldn’t agree with her provoking things then, but I’d respect her more than I do now because at the moment, I think she’s a troublemaker and a coward. You can be both of those things all you want, but mess with someone physically strong like Drita or tough-as-hell Renee (whose party was effectively ruined by your actions) enough times and see where that gets you.

Mob Wives airs Sunday at 8:00 on VH1.
