Tonight’s Supergirl Spoilers: More Aliens than the X-Files!

These Supergirl season 1 episode 11 spoilers look intriguing – and a bit creepy! One thing I can say about this show is that they use the limited CGI and tech effects that can be done on TV to full advantage!  If you want aliens, you’ve got them! Check out this Supergirl season 1 episode 11 preview. Wait a second, are we talking Martians here? Um, I think we are!

Did you get load of that thing! It’s a “White Martian.”   Here’s a closer look:

Yikes!!! That is totally scary-looking!  In terms of a non-human alien form, I prefer Hank Henshaw aka Jonn-Jonzz (David Harewood)!

Okay, for those of us not fully knowledgeable about the comic book world,  CBS press release let’s us know what the heck a “White Martian” is:

“Strange Visitor From Another Planet” — Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian, a member of the alien race that wiped out his people, kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat’s estranged son, Adam (Blake Jenner), arrives in National City, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

So this Supergirl episode is titled, “Strange Visitor From Another Planet.”  Seriously?  Which stranger and which planet?  Actually, I’m sure that’s the point – and a humorous one.  There are a lot of aliens on this show, and likely more to come.  The X-Files better look out!

Anyway, I love that the “anti-alien” senator is actually an alien, one that apparently is as bad as she says aliens are. I suspect this bad alien’s agenda is to get rid of the good aliens like Supergirl so that her species can take over the planet – but we’ll find out tonight!

As for Cat’s estranged son, did you know that the actor Blake Jenner is actually married to Melissa Benoist (Supergirl)? What to do you think of their on-screen chemistry?

Are you thinking we should have more of Adam around?  I guess we’ll learn more about that possibility tonight!

Just as a quick aside, how cool is it that Kara/Supergirl can acknowledge that Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) can acknowledge that despite Grant being a real witch the woman has also been a help in shaping who Supergirl is – and not just by naming her.

Are you ready to hang out with this flygirl tonight? Supergirl season 1 episode 11, “Strange Visitor From Another Planet” airs tonight at 8pm EST on CBS!
