Big things are in store for the NCIS crew during November sweeps. Chief among them is the fact that one of the NCIS team will be shot in an upcoming two-part episode on November 16 and 23. It’s been confirmed by Ausiello that Timothy McGee will not be the victim of the shooting (which will actually occur when a team member is injured by an explosion, not a gun). That leaves Ziva, Tony and Vance in the running as potential victims.
Expect Ziva to start playing a bigger role over the next three November episodes. According to TV Guide:
On November 9, she goes undercover with Robert Wagner, who returns to charm her as Tony DiNozzo’s slightly shady dad. Then, her own extremely estranged Mossad-chief father (Michael Nouri) resurfaces for the two-parter.
