On Monday Walking Dead star and fan favorite Melissa McBride celebrated her 52nd birthday and got a savory birthday present from co-star Norman Reedus. Reedus took to Instagram to share a photo for McBride’s birthday but it’s a very specific photo. The Daryl Dixon actor is licking McBride’s face during a photo op session at a comic convention. It’s not the first time the photo has made its rounds on the Internet but it’s certainly a noteworthy way of wishing your co-star a happy birthday.

With regards to The Walking Dead news I’m sorry to report there’s nothing really new today. I’m surprised Scott Gimple hasn’t mentioned anything about the show lasting until the year 2100.
