We’re less than two weeks away from the premiere of Once Upon a Time Season 6, and while we’ve only gotten a little bit of footage from the new season, thanks to a short promo here and there, these new photos from the sixth-season opener, titled “The Savior,” offer a little more insight into what we can expect from our favorite characters.
In the images below, Storybrooke’s heroes (and Rumpelstiltskin) gather together to investigate what appears to be a crash site of some sort. What (or who) could have caused this wreckage, or is it a result of the new arrivals from the Land of Untold Stories? We’ll have to wait and see.
In addition to this crash site, though, these Once Upon a Time Season 6 pictures do provide us with our first look at Raphael Sbarge’s Archie, aka Jiminy Cricket, who is returning for a guest stint this year. Plus, it’s also clear that Hank Harris’ Dr. Jekyll will be sticking around for a little longer, at least until the people of Storybrooke can decide on what to do with his more evil half, Mr. Hyde (played by Sam Witwer). It looks to be a jam-packed season for OUAT fans, and this is all without any idea of what exactly the Evil Queen will be up to!

As our heroes set out to stop Hyde, Emma develops a mysterious side effect, and Storybrooke becomes a haven for refugees from the Land of Untold Stories. Meanwhile, Regina and Zelena embrace their newfound sisterhood by becoming roommates, while Rumple tries to free Belle from the sleeping Curse with the help of a stranger. In flashback, Jafar confronts an afflicted Aladdin in Agrabah, and a secret about the Savior is revealed.
