10 Things You Didn’t Know about Rochelle Aytes

Rochelle Aytes comes off as the nice girl a lot of times and it seems that she’s earned the distinction throughout much of her life. The experiences that others have had with her might differ but the face she shows to the public is the one that a lot of people know her by and until she shows something else there’s nothing else to say about it. What can be said about the actress is that she is someone that’s there to kind of fill in the gaps in a way that only a few people really can and is appreciated for it. Her presence is something that allows the film or show she’s in to really feel complete, and while she’s not always the star of the show or movie it’s enough to note that she’s there and she’s doing her part. Maybe one of these days she’ll be the leading lady but until then she’s definitely someone that brightens up the screen.

Here’s a few things you might not have known about her.

10. She has a BA in Dance.

Dancing and acting seem far apart at times since quite obviously you don’t see a lot of dancing going on during TV shows or films. But in truth the discipline behind it is sound since it can add poise and balance to a person’s movements and even allow them to hit their marks a little easier.

9. She was in Trick ‘r Treat.

This was actually one of the best Halloween movies ever made and it’s kind of been buried since it came out. Rochelle’s part is pretty small since she plays one of many young women that turn out to be werewolves that strip their skin off to reveal what’s underneath at a party that becomes more of a feast after they each lure in a date.

8. She’s appeared in commercials

Everyone’s got to get their start somewhere and she did so by starring in several different commercials that allowed her to set the pace of her career and eventually break into something that would suit her just a little better.

7. She was in White Chicks.

It feels safe to say that this movie got the attention it deserved since it wasn’t a horrible idea but it was something that might have needed just a little more depth to really make it work for a bigger audience. There were some memorable scenes in there however.

6. She has a modest following on social media.

It’s kind of interesting to see who has the biggest media following and who really doesn’t have one at all. Interestingly enough it doesn’t imply that one celebrity is more popular than another, as it’s more along the lines of showing just how often they visit social media than another person does.

5. Her career started in 2000.

Rochelle got into acting right around the same time that a lot of people did and joined the 2000s generation that started becoming such a big hit a little over a decade ago. One could almost say that they’re bound to be the next big thing in the acting industry but they’ll still have some stiff competition from the 2010s generation.

4. She made her film debut in 2004.

White Chicks was her first film and as it goes things could have been worse. She did play a good role in the movie but it’s likely that not a lot of people will remember her for this since the film wasn’t all that loved.

3. She’s involved with a charity.

One thing that sets some celebrities apart from others are the charities that they involve themselves with. Anyone that makes the kind of money that celebrities do seems to be expected to give back at times and a lot of them so far have proven that they can at least give their time and fund a few charities that they believe in.

2. She’s in Madea’s Family Reunion.

Anytime that someone is in a Madea movie it’s bound to be recognized since somehow Madea has become something of a favorite among many, many people. It’s definitely the type of movie that attracts those that love a good comedy, but it’s also something that you kind of have to get into or simply avoid since for some people it’s just not as enjoyable.

1. She’s had voice roles in a couple of video games.

Like a lot of other actors she’s stretched her game out a bit to include other projects that aren’t strictly on screen acting and has managed to find a way to diversify just a bit. This is after all important as an actor since it shows that they aren’t restricting themselves to one method of acting. That in turn tends to make them just a bit more valuable.

She’s been around for a while, but she’s still got potential for growth in her career.
