SDCC 2016: An Interview with Rick & Morty Writer Ryan Ridley

TVOvermind had the chance to speak to the full cast and crew of Rick & Morty at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 last week. Everyone involved was tons of fun to talk to and they are all very passionate about working on the show. I had the chance to spend some time with writer and voice actor Ryan Ridley. We discussed what it’s like to work with Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland as well as the process behind Rick & Morty. Ridley also offers up his voice when needed for various supporting episodic characters and discusses how him, Harmon and Roiland decide when a voice is a perfect fit, as well as being the one to write a joke and have a specific idea of how it should sound and be delivered.

Despite there being no official return date for Rick & Morty‘s third season just yet, Dan Harmon has teased that we might see the show return to Adult Swim by late 2016.
