I’m so, so torn. For the first time, TV Guide is letting fans choose a cover for its magazine. They’ve selected six fan popular shows (two from The CW, one from ABC, one from FOX, one from CBS and one from NBC) and are allowing fans to vote online for which show should be given the cover. Voting is open through November 1 (vote here!) and the winning cover will be on the December 13 issue of TV Guide.
Why am I so torn? Well, this is the list of selections for fans to choose from:
- How I Met Your Mother
You can see my dilemma, can’t you? I love Bones. Originally because of David Boreanaz and my love of Buffy and Angel, but I grew to loves Bones on its own. Plus there’s Castle. While I’m not as dedicated to that show as I am to others, it has Nathan Fillion, who is pretty awesome in his own right.
Then there’s Supernatural. Which I adore and which has never had a cover on TV Guide ever. And, honestly, who doesn’t want to see hot boys on the cover of a magazine? I might buy TV Guide for the first time in over 10 years if the Winchesters showed up on the cover.
Well, if the rest of you don’t have a dilemma, go vote for your favorite show for the TV Guide cover. If you’re torn too, then you have my sympathies. This is a tough race. I know how dedicated Supernatural fans are, but I’ve also seen Chuck fans mobilize when needed.
