Supernatural has been shooting in Vancouver for 10-plus years now, but when it came time to share the studio’s lot with two new freshman shows, Legends of Tomorrow and Lucifer, the stars of the long-running CW series, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, didn’t haze the newcomers. Instead, they threw them what looks like what heck of a welcome party.
As you can see in the photo above, Ackles and Padalecki even had a full-fledged banner made to welcome their new lot mates. The banner, which features ridiculous photos of Ackles and Padalecki posing, reads, “Welcome freshman class of Lucifer and Legends of Tomorrow from your friends at Supernatural,” and members of all three casts got together to take a photo underneath it.
In the photo, from left to right, are Ackles, Kevin Alejandro, Lauren German, Scarlett Estevez, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Tom Ellis (all from Lucifer), Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Ciara Renee, Falk Hentschel, Franz Drameh, Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh (all from Legends of Tomorrow) and Padalecki.
Ackles posted posted the photo of the welcome party on Twitter last night, writing, “Welcoming some new faces to the studio lot up here in Vancouver…so many actors.”
