Looks like someone finally got their hands on a copy of this week’s InTouch magazine, which features why Kim Zolciak quit The Real Housewives of Atlanta, was not afraid to give their two cents on the matter.
Zolciak’s co-star/former bestie turned enemy NeNe Leakes took to Twitter late Friday night to give her opinion on the InTouch article, where the “Tardy for the Party” singer disclosed her reasoning for wanting to leave the hit Bravo series. While Kim explained in the article that she left the series after growing tired of all the fighting and arguing among her cast mates, NeNe painted a different picture with her tweets, which implied that Kim was actually “fired” from the show.
“It’s so funny how this chick wants people 2 think she quit the show! The producers no longer wanted 2 work wit u! Good bye wit the lies.” – That NeNe’s first tweet on the matter and she was far from done.
Tweet #2 – “None of the girls or producers wanted 2 work wit her! Saving face like all the other ex housewives! U were FIRED! Good bye.”
Tweet #3 – “U had an existing deal that they [sic] honored! Girl bye! Keep it 100.”
Tweet #4 – “Yea let’s get it! The brown girls won’t stand 4 the lies.”
Tweet #5 – “Enough said✌”
Well, I’ll be damned.
Of course, Kim Zolciak had a few words, or tweets rather, to say about NeNe’s claims of her being shown the door by the producers. Come on, you knew a rebuttal was coming.
“I definitely was NOT fired from RHOA I can guarantee u that!!!” Kim tweeted. “My spinoff last year was a 1 time thing so this spinoff is brand new! Bye hater!!!!” But she came back for more…
“You are so mad u cant stand it & hold your anger in, u are suppose to have all this stuff going on but ur staying tuned into meÂ
“Makes no sense to get fired and get a promotion!Â
InTouch Magazine did in fact reveal today that Kim’s spinoff show, Tardy for the Wedding, is in the works with a new name and will premiere in the spring. The show will also be produced by the same production company, True Entertainment, who is behind The Real Housewives of Atlanta as well as other shows. Although after Kim manhandled one of the production cameras while exiting RHOA, one can see why it would be plausible that production probably had enough of Kim’s antics and gave her the deuces. With all of that said, however, I can’t help but give Kim a point in this latest shouting Tweet match between the two women, even if I seriously won’t miss her once she goes to her own show.
However, there is one thing still puzzling me, though: Why are these two still following each other on Twitter? If they aren’t, then there are some messy fans out there. For shame.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays @9/8c on Bravo.
