12. Ginny Field- Friday the 13th Part 2
The second installment of the ‘Friday the 13th’ series, this 1981 slasher film was directed by Steve Milner and written by Ron Kurz and Phil Scuderi. There were protests about the level of violence in this movie and this led to there being many cuts. Amy Steele plays heroine Ginny Field in this movie, which also stars John Furey, Adrienne King, and Betsy Palmer. Jason Voorhees is the killer in this movie while his mother was the killer in the previous installment. This was a low-budget movie as it was made with just $1.25 million. Despite the low funds, it still made $21.7 million at the United States box office.
