Tonight on the premiere of The Great Human Race on National Geographic. Darkness is falling fast and the nocturnal predators are stirring. Cat and Bill must get off the ground and up into a thousand year old Baobab tree in order to survive their first night on the Serengeti. That’s only part of the new series that explores human survival.
The new show follows two experts on a historic mission to trace the routes of our ancestors. It takes them on a journey from where man first walked the earth, all the way to North America. Cat Bigney and Bill Schindler are the adventurist and archaeologist tasked with this mission.
The show is part survival as well as historical. Each episode will follow these two as they take on different evolutionary chapters while living and surviving like our ancient ancestors did. They only use the tolls and technologies from a certain point in time (usually millions of years ago).
Catch The Great Human Race Monday, February 1 at 10/9c, following the Season Premiere of “Wicked Tuna” at 9/8c.
