Twilight Zone Returning to the Movies

Warner Brothers, Leonardo DiCaprio and his year-old production company, Appian Way, have forged a deal with Rand Ravich to write a new reincarnation of Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone, once again for the big screen.

Following the format of the previous big screen adaption, Twilight Zone: The Movie, also produced by Warner Brothers in 1983, with a prologue directed by Peter Landis, the latest itineration will also be anthology based. serling

The original Twilight Zone, created and hosted by Rod Serling, ran on broadcast television and has been honored as the precursor to today’s science fiction meets horror meets psychological drama genre so popular on television and in the movies today.

We can only hope this production will be successful without the aura of death that surrounded the original Twilight Zone: The Movie.
