The Young and the Restless fans know that many couples end up together a few times even after they swear they will never spend another day together in their lives. They might not make it in the short-term, but that doesn’t mean that they cannot or will not find a way to be together on another day. They always seem to come back to one another, and we hope that there is a chance some people will. We like some couples together better than we like others, but we also have a feeling that some things will not work out for others. With the new year right around the corner, we think that there is a good chance that someone will find a way to make sure they are able to get back together with someone they were with another time. And these are the couples we think might just make it work again in the new year.
Victoria and Billy
There was a time that they were married and happy with one another, and then there was a time they were not. There was a time earlier this year that we thought they might just end up back together, too, but that didn’t happen. There was a time when we thought that things would work out in our favor with them and everyone would just be happy and good, but that is not always the case. The case is not always good news for people, and we just don’t know how to fix that for them. But we think that he is in the mindset that he might just get Phyllis back. She’s still supportive of him even though she’s with Nick now, and that might make him feel that he has a chance.
He does not. She’s too much for him. She’s too powerful and ambitious and outgoing and mature for him. And that’s not good for him. But it’s good for Victoria. She’s the one who is a much better match for him in every way imaginable. She’s the one who will make him a good person, make it work with him, and be there for him. She’s not really ever looking for love elsewhere. That’s just him. She’s the kind of woman who merely sits back and allows things to work out for other people while she waits patiently. And that might just work for her soon.
Nick and Sharon
While we do like to see him with Phyllis, we still hold out hope there is something that she can make work with Jack. They work out so much better together than she does with anyone else. And while she’s having a good time with Nick, he is meant to be with Sharon. He messed up. He had a bad year, and she might just be able to forgive him for all of that. But there is a good chance we think that they might just end up back together. They were in the middle of their wedding day when she left. That has to mean something. They were too close to one another and too much in love for it not to work out once she’s able to come to terms with it and he is able to make it right and actually be apologetic for it.
Summer and Kyle
There is not a thing that will work for him and Lola. She’s not his type, and she is not the kind of woman who wants to be with a man like that. And that is not something that will work for him. In the meantime, however, there is very little that we can get on board with when it comes to Kyle and Lola. We do, however, love it when he is with Summer. They are a perfect match, and we do think that they will find a way to spend some more time together. He will finally realize that she is the one for him, but she will not give up until he does. He’s not going to get away with not being with her, and that will be our favorite new romance of the new year.
