Zero Hour Clips – WATCH THIS SHOW!

I have a sinking feeling.  Every time a quasi genre show I love, The River for example, and that my family loves, comes along it gets cancelled.  There is no reason to think Zero Hour will be cancelled simply because I like it, but the fact that my family sat riveted throughout the pilot certainly makes me a little paranoid.  There are so few shows that fit into the primetime drama schedule that can be considered family viewing anymore that Zero Hour most definitely has a huge niche to fill.  (And no, I’m not going to start watching Marvin Marvin or Vic-tori-ous … unless you pay me).  Check out this description:

CARMEN EJOGO, SCOTT MICHAEL FOSTER, ANTHONY EDWARDS, JACINDA BARRETT, MICHAEL NYQVIST, ADDISON TIMLINAs the publisher of Modern Skeptic Magazine, Hank Galliston has spent his career following clues, debunking myths and cracking conspiracies. But when his beautiful wife, Laila (Jacinda Barrett), is abducted from her antique clock shop, Hank gets pulled into one of the most compelling mysteries in human history, stretching around the world and back centuries.

Contained in one of his wife’s clocks is a treasure map, and what it leads to could be cataclysmic. It’s up to Hank to decipher the symbols and unlock the secrets of the map, while ensuring the answers don’t fall into the wrong hands — hands that belong to a sinister, mysterious man known only as White Vincent (Michael Nyqvist). Now Hank, along with his two young associates, Rachel (Addison Timlin) and Arron (Scott Michael Foster), as well as alluring and intelligent FBI agent Rebecca “Beck” Riley (Carmen Ejogo), must embark on a breathless race against the clock to not only find his wife, but save humanity.

Yes it sounds a little familiar, and it should. Zero Hour is pulp to its finest.  Breathless and intelligent characters, secret societies, that sense that some major revelation is around the corner, the FACT that there is a major revelation around every corner.  Zero Hour is TV for anyone who loves to have fun watching TV.  No pretentiously sullen characters stewing in their own funk, no build-you-up-to-let-you-down high concept fluff, just great pacing, intriguing plots, and all the rest of that ‘really good story’ stuff.  So watch it, okay?
