Pixar Artist Draws R-Rated Movie Scenes In The Style Of Cute Kids’ Books

I think that artist Josh Cooley may have just become one of my favorite artists of all time.   I’m not sure if you were aware but Cooley made an awesome book, yes book, called “Movie R’ Fun” that you have to read.  It’s one of the most inappropriate children’s books in existence, if you could even call it a children’s book.  Cooley has picked some of his favorite R-Rated movie scenes from contemporary classics (including Alien, Fargo, Apocalypse Now, The Shining…), and reimagined them as illustrations you would find a a kid’s book.

Not only are the images excellent, so is the dialogue.  The images should come as no surprise though because Josh works as a storyboard artist for Pixar.   He has contributed to unforgettable films like The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Up, and many more.

You can find his book on Amazon.  You can also check below for some samples from the book.  These are truly entertaining.
